Step 4 - The Modules - Clock and Recycler
- Moving on to the 'Modules' dialogue (second button down), we can see a button at the top right showing which module we are
about to set up. We'll start with the clock. Set the options as you wish (although you'll need to check 'show on desktop'),
then click on the 'Advanced' button.
- In the Advance Clock Skinning Options, check the 'Advanced Skinning' and 'Bitmap Transparency' options and browse to our
'Sinter' folder. We will be using a digital clock (you can ignore the Analogue settings below), so click on the 'digital clock'
icon , and the 'calendar' icon at the top left.
- In the clock settings, choose Tahoma 8pt for the clock in black text with x=26 and y=21 and a text colour of black. For the
date, set Tahoma 7pt in dark grey at x=28, y=4.
- Now click on 'Ok' to close the Advanced Skinning Dialogue. You should see that the preview will give you an idea whether your x/y positioning was successful. There is
no quick way to get the text lined up on the clock than to open the 'Advanced' dialogue and change the values. It may take a
few attempts to get the text exactly where you want it!
- Change the module choice to 'Recycler' using the button at the top right again. This is much simpler - once again, set the
options as you wish (including 'show on desktop'), then click on the 'Advanced' button. In this dialogue, you just need to
check 'Advanced skinning' and browse to the 'Sinter' folder. We can leave the 'Bitmap Transparency' unchecked as our trashf/trashe
images are not using transparency (i.e. they don't have any magenta (rgb 255/0/255) pixels). Click on 'Ok' to close the dialog
and you should see the trash icon to match our theme.
